About our founder
Founder and President Richard L. Fahn is a distinguished veteran of the insurance business. Before opening the doors to Excell Benefit Group, Mr. Fahn earned his qualifications as a successful Account Executive for both Prudential Healthcare and HealthNet in Southern California, as well as with Aetna in Chicago. That hands-on experience has made him a leading authority in underwriting, contract negotiations and plan administration.
In 2006, he earned his Chartered Benefit Consultant (CBC) status, validation of his expertise in the field of consumer-driven health plans.
